Its very unfortunate that even with active consumer support forums including Complaints-India publishing news about fake lotteries, fake job interview offers etc people continue to get fooled and trapped by Cyber Criminals. Most of the readers agree that they will not get trapped since they will not respond to mails received, all of a sudden, offering Lottery Prize Money or a Job. In addition to Nigerian and other foreign gangs, there are number of gangs operating in India which send out mass fraud offer mails. The mail says "YOU" have won! or "YOU" were selected for a job! As if the person who received mail is so lucky! But in fact the same mail is sent to lakhs of people and few innocent ones will get trapped and sent money to the Cyber Criminal Gang. The gangs use RBI and SBI officers names and ask to transfer amount to agents in India.  |
