hello,myself shaista,I was really upset with the custom dept.of lucknow,when i came here with my husband from s.arabia as i was pregnant& due to which my body was swelled,&was not able to wear my jwellary,i keep it in my purse(it was all indian jwellary,jwaalary was very casual& it was of daily use)so on lucknow air port they stopped me there an ask for the tax i explain them my condition and showed them all the jwelary,though i was confident that they will cooprate with me,i told them that u people, can guess that i can were this,but because of swelling i can not,so please cooprate,but i do not know what personal interest they have on it they were interested on charging money,first they ask for RS.2000 then we told them we do not have,after negosiation RS.800 we paid,they showed us rules that if u r carring gold then u should carry receipt as well but the question was that these rules should be told before, or in other words we will follow the rules when we will aware of that,so if there is such rule,so pls publish it,without knowing how people will follow it,so the bottom line is rules are mare for the convinient of the people and not to threthen then,and pls check as Iam doughtfull,they were cheating and making money.thanks and I hope the action will be taken soon,  Post a Similar Complaint!
