Subject :- Brand New Bike, is not so Brand New.
Respected Sir/Maam,
I, Tyson Pacheco booked my SUZUKI GS150 R bike, Frame No: MB8GF49AFB8119183 Engine No: G423-152714 from SHREE SAI SUZUKI TWO WHEELERS PVT. LTD. TEEN HATH NAKA, THANE (W) 400604 (Dealer Code: 368103) on 9-08-2011 and the bike’s delivery date was 17-08-2011 from the SHREE SAI SUZUKI TWO WHEELERS SERVICE CENTRE, LOUISWADI, THANE (W).
On the day of delivery the following was noticed:-
1. The outer rim of the petrol lock has bubbles.
2. The paint on the fuel tank has bubbles.
3. The silencer’s exhaust point is rusted.
4. Full body of the bike is scratched.
5. Disc Break was scratched and unfinished.
6. Front Suspension mounting point is already Rusted.
7. The clutch was very hard to use.
On bringing these points foward to the service mechanic, the response was that it will be taken care of during the 1st Servicing as the Bike has been REGISTERED to me and nothing could be done about it.

After 24hrs since 17-08-2011 the following were eminent:-
1. Sometimes the Self Start would not work, i.e even on the course of the journey I had to take the bike on the side of the road and keep trying to start the bike.
2. Engine siezed (abruptly stopped working during the journey).
3. The gear box makes loud noises (loud clunk noises) on changing the gears and sometimes the gears do not even change.
4. The bike handle at times shakes, not vibrate, shakes. (During the delivery of the bike the service engineers were hitting the hangle bar and handle bar weights to make adjustments and fitting.)
5. The inside of the fuel tank is rusted.
6. Bike Handle Lock does not LOCK properly.
On 18-08-2011 I went to the SUZUKI LOUISWADI SERVICE CENTRE and spoke to Mr. Ganesh and told him about my problems. He said he would change the fuel tank with another bike’s fuel tank that was in the SHREE SAI TWO WHEELERS SHOWROOM, but later told me that it was not possible as he would also need to change the entire LOCK SET of the bike, so he suggested that I wait untill 24th August 2011 to replace the entire fuel tank and all the lock sets on the bike.
On 19-08-2011 I put forward my greviences to Mr. L.B Yadav from from SHREE SAI TWO WHEELERS and he has directed me to write an email to shreesai@shreesai2wheelers.com. Till date I have not yet recieved any sort of acknowledgment email from them.
On 20-08-2011, I approached Mr. Ganesh at the Suzuki Service Center At Louiswadi and asked him what is the solution to my problem, to which he replyed that we will take pictures of the mentioned parts and await for SUZUKI COMPANY’S decision, and JOB SHEET NO: 5123 was made.
Later in the Afternoon, my Mother and I approached SHREE SAI SUZUKI TWO WHEELERS and brought to their notice all greviences and complaints to which we were told to speak to the Business Manager, Mr. Piyush Patel. At that current time Mr. Piyush Patel was not available so my mother and spoke to him over the phone and nothing fruitfull came out of it. The Sales Manager stated that the SCRATCHES etc. are common and that I should not make a big deal about it. A person calling himself an I.T Personal of Shree Sai Suzuki bluntly asked, if we had paid EXTRA MONEY so as to get a better quality in this product. I replyed that my mother made the entire payment of Rs.70,818 by Cheque No. 441127 of T.J.S.Bank. On questioning him what has excess payment got to do with the quality and condition of the product, he had no answer for it but had the odassity to state that such instances occur where from 100 bikes, 1 bike would be defective and that I should CARRY ON and not be bothered as they are running a BUSINESS and these things happen in BUSINESSES.

At the time of payment, Mr. L. B. Yadav assured me that a NEW CONSIGNMENT was on it way and if I make the entire payment on the spot, I will be sold a bike from the new lott. However, this has not been done as promised, instead I have been given a bike from the consignment dated 2nd June 2011.
Mr. Piyush Patel came later in the evening and stated that it is not a PRODUCT but is now an ASSET that cannot be replaced as the bike has been regestered on my name and that I am making HYPOTHETICAL claims. I have attached a Xerox Copy of the JOB SHEET which dercribes the problems.
So, now my question to you is that; if I purchase a motorbike worth Rs. 70,818 and within 72 Hrs of me receiving it I must CHANGE so many parts, then what is the point in buying a bike from a reputated company such as yours.
On 02-09-2011, I personally called the SUZUKI SALES AND MARKETTING, NEW DELHI and spoke to Ms. Swati Vyas with regards to my problem.
Later on 05-09-2011, Mr. Deepak Saxena the RSM of SUZUKI MOTORCYCLES INDIA confirmed that the problem is a legimate one and that they will REFUND me the total sum of Rs. 70,818, But till this date 16-09-2011 i have not recieved any confirmation or even a CALL from their side with regards to the REFUND.
When i call them i am told that the OVERSEAS MANAGER has to APROVE of the problem and sign the documentation so that the dealer will REFUND me the complete sum of money.
I have been cheated ONE and do not want to be cheated AGAIN!
I have even sent a FORMAL LETTER the same typed here by REGISTERED POST and have recieved the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the Letter, but still in vain as there is no action or output from the SUZUKI COMPANYS SIDE.
I have even posted many emails on the SUZUKI MOTORCYCLES INDIA's website with regards to my complaint, and nothing is being done about.
I am BEING FORCED to suffer with this kind product and the kind of Attitude and Service shown and potrayed from SUZUKI MOTORCYCLES INDIA.
This only goes to prove that this is THE WAY OF LIFE in your organization ???
My widowed mother is now mentally traumatized and has not been in any frame of mind ever since, leaving me also severely disturbed and mentally tortured due this incident.
I want some action to be taken to my prolonging problem and also against the dealer for selling me an old and tarnished PRODUCT. If not I will be forced to seek justice from the Consumer Court as per the Consumer Protection Act of 1986.
