Dear Sir, I have booked a ticket through maky my trip.com on flight AI 695 on 21 Oct 2011. The PNR NO is ZBFHG. On my arrival at the air port at around 0845 Hrs I was told that the check in counter has between closed and after a wait of about 10 minutes I was advised to contact the duty manager, who also expressed his inability to board me on the said flight. I got the reporting time and annotation as to full refund endorsed on my flight ticket which I am sending through fax. Because of my not being able to travel on the schedule date I had to forgo an important appointment which caused me heavy financial loss besides mental agony.I also had to reschedule my journey and pay substaincialy extra amount. I therefore demand an explanation besides financial compensation for the loss that i have suffered. I also intent to lodge a complaint in the consumer forum for this inconsiderate act on part of the airlines staffs. The counter closure time may be verified from the electronic records available at the check in counter and also it is quite inexplicable that how a confirmed ticket holder could be denied a boarding card stating that there are no seats available. Awaiting an early reply.
