We own a FIAT LINEA DSL EMOTION PB10CU 2871 since Dec 2009. The car has been serviced regularly as per company guidelines. The car had a minor accident in May, 2010 and was hit from below by a stone. It was sent to Tatamotors workshop at M/s Garyson Motors workshop Ludhiana. After thorough inspection by their service personnel, it was concluded that the damage was done to the OIL SUMP and that was replaced immediately on the recommendations of the workshop attendants. Had there been any damage to the bigger, expensive parts we would not have mind to get them also replaced as we could have easilty claimed the same from M/s RELIANCE GENERAL INSURANCE CO. on behalf of the comprehensive accidental insurance policy of our vehicle with them. But there was no such communication from any of their attendants/supervisors and the vehicle was delivered to us just after replacing the OIL SUMP for which we paid the charges.
We feel that FIAT is a world renowned company and we have full confidence that they won`t design a vehicle which can go \"useless\" just because a petty spare part of about Rs. 500/- is damaged in an accident. Henceforth, a customer who confides in your reputation feels that if the impact is so crucial and damaging then the company will take up the matter very seriously and won`t hand over the vehicle to the customer until and unless they are satsfied with its working condition.

On the contrary, it were us who reported the matter to the company when the vehicle started giving indications of \"INSUFFICIENT ENGINE OIL\", a couple of months after this repalcement job. We felt cheated that we have been delivered a faulty vehicle. The service engineers assured us that the matter has been reported to the higher authorities and shall be solved at the earliest. And we were handed over the vehicle, after topping up the engine oil, for our normal use. There was no communication from any of your agency official till the vehicle again started showing the same indication about engine oil. The matter kept lingering on, the vehicle was sent to the workshop numerous times and delivered back just with engine oil top up - FREE OF COST with assurance that the faulty parts will be replaced as soon as the warranty approval is received from the authorities. Nowhere, were we instructed not to use the vehicle with the faulty TURBOCHARGER.

And finally, just a month back, we got the message that the warranty claim has been rejected and we have get the job done on payment basis which now is not limited to the TURBOCHARGER only but also would require a COMPREHENSIVE ENGINE OVERHAUL. This was something that shattered all our confidence in quality as well as service of both TATA and FIAT and were really struck in awe.

This is now not just a matter of vehicle service but also a case of FRAUD by your company. Everytime after the engine oil top up, the vehicle was delivered to us without any communication/undertaking from us that further use of this car without the required service jobs can be fatal for the vehicle. We have got the vehicle serviced on time and have never ignored any of the recommendations of the agency people at any time. Hence, any damage to the vehicles internal parts remains solely the responsibility of the service department or the manufacturer.

We are sorry to say that all our complaints regarding this matter are falling into deaf ears and we feel being heavily cheated by Garysons Motors and Tata motors.
