AI 051 from Hyderabad to Mumbai on November 9th, 2011 was delayed by 4 hours. The staff assured me that they have communicated Lufthansa about my late arrival and that Air India staff at Mumbai will assist me in checking in for the next flight. They refused to book me on an alternate flight following day as they see no reason why I will fail in checking in for my Lufthansa flight which. However by the time I reached departure terminal the Lufthansa\'s counter was closed. Air Inida staff at Mumbai refused to help me and asked to let Lufthansa arrange my re-booking. Lufthansa also failed to rebook me and suggested that I purchase a fresh ticket which I did and reached my home at Ottawa.
