Schools are giving undue high weightage of 20 points each to Alumni and sibling criteria, whereas only 5 points each is given to single child and girl child. It simply means that most of the private schools are interested in giving admission to wards of parents who are already having prior relationship with the school for apparently obvious reasons. It also means that a single child whose parents are not alumni of a particular school, will not be able to secure admission in any school. This also exposes the hypocrisy of the govt. in promoting education to the girl child on one hand and on the other end allowing the private schools to unfairly give only 05 points to single child and girl child and giving unduly high weightage to sibling and alumni criteria. This weightage system on which the schools apparently enjoy undue discretion for serving their vested interests is absolutely unfair, discriminatory,unjustified and malafide. The errant schools should be brought to book and the officials of the regulatory bodies should also be held responsible for this arbitrary and malafide practise.  Post a Similar Complaint!
