Canara Bank has bought a new rule that Bank is not paying cash to self cheques to the person who tender the cheque across the counter and instructing the drawer of the cheque to come in person to take the cash. This create a lot of problem to the account holders mainly for the senior citizens who are drawing pension from the Bank. According to the Negotiable Instrument act Bank cannot refuse to make cash payment to third parties. This is violation of Law. Please take necessary action in this regard and instruct to Bank and help the poor people.
