I had booked my flight with JetLite on the- from MUMBAI TO RANCHI Flight no. and had everything planned out for the trip. On the day of the travel 27/01/12 I reached the airport 2 hours prior to departure and started with the baggage check- in, where it was completely chaotic. There was no line for any particular flight and all the flight check-in was at a common counter. The staff was extremely slow and clumsy and didn\\\'t seem to be bothered about the comfort of the travelers. After I finally reached the counter 70 the lady there told me that I had excess baggage of 5 kgs (when clearly it wasn\\\'t excess as I had carried little more baggage the last time I traveled with KingFisher and it was within the allowed limit.) So I had to run to another counter for paying for excess baggage and when I came back to the original counter the lady was busy with some other customer and took so much time to get to me. Finally I was able to do the check-in, which was an hour before boarding and I was directed to Gate no. 12, which wasn\\\'t visible anywhere in the premise except that there was an arrow pointing towards Gates-9 to 20, nothing specific. Anyways, after standing in queue for 1 hour and no announcements for passengers for Ranchi, I reached the boarding counter (where they frisk the passenger) and there was still 30 minutes left for the the flight to take off! But, as soon as they saw my tickets they started yelling \\\"NO NO We can\\\'t allow you now. We have been calling out for Ranchi passengers long ago\\\" When clearly they hadn\\\'t. SO now I was literally begging them to let me go in and they just wouldn\\\'t listen. I had a severe panic attack there and instead of helping me out with any kind of assistance, they kept misbehaving and asking me to go to counter no. 41 and get a replacement ticket. In that panic condition I still went to the counter no. 41/42, there was this Lady called \\\"JYOTI\\\" who was so darn rude and started yelling at me \\\"I can\\\'t do anything now. Why didn\\\'t you come early. Now you have to get a ticket for another flight, please don\\\'t disturb me. Go and buy a new ticket\\\", as if I\\\'m not a paid customer, I am a street beggar. HUH!!! When I went to the ticket counter (where fortunately the lady assisting me was a bit courteous but told me that there was another flight at 6.30am from Mumbai to Kolkata and then will take off from Kolkata at 11am and reach Ranchi at 1pm. The difference in fare would be Rs.4800 approx. \\\"Are you freaking kidding me???!!!???\\\" Why should I pay so much extra when it was completely their fault putting me through so much of physical and mental trauma! Tell me Why....???? I am talking to my lawyers regarding this issue and clearly I have a Solid Case on my side! I need proper explanation/proper written apology letter besides the monetary compensation. Also I want JetLite to change their system soon otherwise serious Legal action is due on them!!! REPLY BACK TO THIS POST IMMEDIATELY AND TAKE IT AS SERIOUSLY
