My name is Mohan, residing at Anaimalai. My car (Fiat Palio) was given to Ramesh (Alia Uno Ramesh) for repair on 7.11.12. He collected Rs. 2000 immediately when I met him. He told me to deliver the car within a week time. After 3 days he asked me to transfer Rs. 4000 to his account on Canara bank, Elappully branch, Palakkad to buy spares. I had transferred tha amount immediatly from ICICI bank account.
But he never bought any spares. After a week he told me that the problem is in the crank bearing and needed to change and if you take this car to any other place they will charge you more money and I will file the crank by manually and replace an old bearing. Though he had called a lathe workshop owner to inspect the crank in front of me. He told us to to remove the crank for lathe and fix it for better result. Ramesh was not confident to remove the crank and refix it again.
I was visiting his workshop regularly in two days intervel. Every time he was talking bla bla and nothing was taken place. He had called me over phone and tole me he got a old bearing and needed Rs 2000 to buy the same. Though I can understand he is lieing, I was thinking to take the car without any problem from him. If I resisted or made any confrontation he may make some unwanted problem again to the car. As I heard later that he was taken away a sound system from a car and never returned to a car owner.
So I waited till two month, nothing was happened. I decided to take away the car from his workshop. I took another machanic and taken the car to Coimbatore where it is getting rectified.
I asked him to return the money. He assured to return money with little amount to be taken for dismatling parts. i have accepted and was running behind him for more than fifteeen days. He had given me Rs. 2000 as a part payment and giving assurances every time, like afternoon, morning, evening today or tomorrow but nothing was happening.
i was totally depressed and under tremondous stress due to his fraud behaviour
I wanted to disseminate this message this message to my fellow citizen for not to be a victim to Ramesh for his fraudulent service
