It was Dec 16th, 2011, when I submitted a foriegn check to ICICI branch, Chandnagar, HYD. It was a foreign bank cheque and I was told that it would take 21 days to get cleared. After more then 6 weeks now, calling the karauli branch multiple times, visiting a branch at Chandanagar, calling customer care many times, no body has been able to tell me the location or status of this cheque. The response of the executives is not clear and they don't know where the cheque is. What nonsense is going on in this country and why a bank like ICICI is behaving like a municipality clerk?can you please help me with tracking of this cheque? at least they should tell me whether it is lost or it is into a particular process?
