My name is Mohit Khurana I am working as the Scale 2 Manager in Oriental Bank of Commerce in Regional office Bathinda. 25 days back I was approached by the ICICI bank (Vathinda) official Sanjeev Taneja mobile no 998853761 to open the account in ICICI bank with the minimum balance of Rs 10000, looking at the features of the accounts and the presentation of the employee I immediately agreed to it and signed the form and deposited the amount. Official told me the account will be active in 3-4 days but this didn’t happen after 1 week I was informed that account will be opened after verification as I am not the local person as I belong to Meerut UP not from Punjab after that on 24th day I got the verification call form the ICICI bank people to know who I am and where I am working I was so surprised to know the person(Girl) who was doing verification don’t know the difference between the public sector bank and the private sector bank even she didn’t know about the geography of India I was surprised by this state of affairs, even she don’t have the basic etiquettes of talking to the customer. Now on the 25th day I talked on the customer care even then I didn’t get the satisfactory response they were not able to tell me about the status of my application of my account and not in the position to lodge a complaint against the person who talked with me in the inappropriate way. I am so surprised to know such state of affairs in the private sector bank like ICICI that they took so much of time in verification or to complete KYC norms. I am sorry to say that my decision to open account in ICICI was wrong .I have not taken any action because of the official MR Sanjeev Taneja he is such a genuine person but now I felt cheated and harassed after the service and the treatment I have received after becoming the customer of ICICI bank
