MY PERSONS REACHED THE CHECK IN COUNTERS AT 14.00 ON 17.12.2010.The flight was scheduled to take off at 14.35.In spite of them requesting the Go Air Staff to issue them the boarding passes they kept on hanging and stamped 14.09 as reported time on the ticket. They pleaded that they were late due to long distance traveling from the hills as Bagdogra caters to the passengers from Bhutan,Sikkim etc. When they were at the counters the boarding had just been announced. But still with 25 min to takeoff they never bothered to solve the issue.Instantly they tried convincing my persons to postpone the tickets for tomorrow(18/12/2010) and pay up additional Rs.9500/-.The Go Air Airport Manager specifically said and has provided a written information which baffles me.DOES ATC CONTROL THE ISSUE OF BOARDING PASSES OR DOES GOVT OF INDIA CONTROLS IT?He (Mr.Sanjeev) said that it was on strict ATC regulations that my persons were not allowed to board the plane thereby missing the connecting Train tickets to Haridwar by Mussourie express to attend a important meeting.I would like to know that if the flight was delayed by 15 min would then the personnel of ATC allow me to board the Flight or would the Regulations by Govt Of India be overlooked that time? The Go Air staff and the manager is so ignorant that they did not even come and meet my persons till 14.25 so that their planning goes well. They i think probably they sold the tickets to Delhi on premium prices or some other internal issue of their own.Or how come even after reaching the check in counter at 14.00 our persons are not considered for boarding the flight and are not issued the Boarding passes.
