I had booked my mother, Ms Namita Bhattacharjee's ticket by AI flight from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad by IC 618 and from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad by IC 981 on 16 January 2011. When she checked in at Visakhapatnam, she asked for boarding passes for both flights. However AI staff were unable to give her boarding pass of flight IC 981. Neither was she told that flight IC 981 was an International flight. Though they assured her that her baggage would be delivered to her at Ahmedabad, the same was unloaded at Hyderabad and she had to again get her baggage checked in. My mother was travelling alone and was not expecting this sort of unresponsible attitude of Air India.  Post a Similar Complaint!
